Office for University Cooperation

The Office for University Cooperation (OCU) is owned by the public universities of Alcalá, Carlos III of Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Rey Juan Carlos, Salamanca and Valladolid, and also participated by the Santander banking group, based on the ideas of cooperation, service , participation and management efficiency.

The Company was created in June 1994 with the main objective of serving as instrumental support to the activities that the law assigns to the University.

OCU MISSION

OCU is a company that provides pioneer Management Information Systems for universities, promoting cooperative models focused on reducing costs, building university networks, and encouraging collaboration in the creation of international Higher Education spaces. The company also has a spirit of cooperation and knowledge transfer with universities in Latin America.

OCU VISION

OCU wants to be the reference and the standard for Information Systems and technology services in the field of Higher Education; based on its skills, knowledge of the sector and quality of its products and services, becoming a strategic partner of the Spanish Universities, and developing its international presence mainly in Latin America.

OCU Group consists of over 240 professionals experts in university management, that develop software products, and provide services to assist staff of universities to improve their management.

Our clients are distributed widely in Spain, and increasing in Latin America where we have customers in Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Venezuela. We are currently working to continue growing into Central America and parts of South America.

OCU is certified in ISO 2001:2008 at their headquarters in Madrid, Lleida and Bogota, and accredited at Level 2 of CMMI by SEI.
